Japanese->English translation of "Invitation" by 9mm Parabellum Bullet.

Translator's notes: "I'll burn this calendar, from which I've erased work" is a loose translation. The literal translation would be "I'll burn this calendar, which has lost work", but - while that conveys the intended meaning in Japanese, well, in English not so much. It's meant as... the calendar has lost its entries for "work", you know? There's no work marked in it any more? So I figured I'd put it as the singer's action, of erasing/removing work.

Also, for context, while recording this album the guys spent a few days holed up on a mountain somewhere with a studio, living together and recording. And they got snowed in. Or at least, their car broke down in the snow, and... generally... there was a lot of snow. I feel like this song is prooobably influenced by that experience.

If this peace continues much longer, I won't be able to bear it
To stave off boredom, I want an uproar soon
I'll send out invitations

Honestly, I don't even care if you're the devil
So long as you can read an invitation

パーティしようぜ シェルターの中で

On the day when even the hill of hope has thrown away hope
Let's have a party, inside the shelter

From morning to night gray snow falls
Every day, every day, without any sign of letting up, snow falls
And the invitations keep getting buried by it

パーティしようぜ シェルターの中で
パーティしようぜ 雪が解けるまで

On the day when even the hill of hope has thrown away hope
I'll burn this calendar, from which I've erased work
And have a party, inside the shelter
Let's have a party, until the snow melts
